Examination/Service Fees

Effective May 1, 2024

Below are the associated fees for FAA practical exam appointments and other provided services. These fees are subject to change. All applicable fees will be discussed when scheduling an appointment.

 

All appointment fees are required to be paid prior to services being provided.

Fees are payable by cash, cashier’s check or Zelle only.

No personal checks will be accepted.
 

Airplane Land Examinations:

• Ground Instructor – Airplane *(If done in conjunction with another test there is no fee) $50.00

• Flight Instructor Renewal (paper - no flight) $150.00

• Foreign Certificate Paper Conversions - $150.00

• SMFT (Special Medical Flight Test) - Airplane $500.00

• Initial Flight Instructor – Airplane Land (Initial CFI/CFII/MEI) $1500.00

• ATP Multi-Engine $1500.00

• Flight Instructor Additional Rating/Reinstatement; Private Pilot/Instrument Rating/Commercial Pilot  (Initial & Addons) $1100.00

• Retest (within 60 days of original start of exam) - Oral & Flight = Full test fee; Flight Only - Max. of $800 

• For any retest/continuance within 60 days of original start of exam conducted by another examiner, the fee may be the full test fee listed.

• Discontinuances/reschedules not related to weather - $300.00

Additional Information: 

• If applicant presents an aircraft that is not airworthy or the applicant is not eligible prior to beginning test (no letter of discontinuance will be issued), the practical test will not begin and the full test fee will be collected and is not subject to a refund.

• Once all issues have been corrected, another date will be scheduled for the examination to be completed and will incur a rescheduling fee. 

• I reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for <48 hour notice for any cancellations (other than unforecasted weather the day of the appointment) up to the full amount of the exam.
